Where will the bootcamp take place?
- The bootcamp is fully remote with most of the communication done through telegram. We’ll also have office hours, workshops, and guest speakers which will be hosted on different platforms like Zoom, Jitsi, and Twitter Spaces
Do I need to have a team to join?
- No, solo founders are welcome.
Are there any pre-requisites?
- Since this is a free, fully remote bootcamp, we’re open to aspiring founders who may just be starting out with their first venture. What’s most important is that you know what you want to build and have a clear motivation to execute on your ideas.
Are we required to join all the workshops?
- Attendance is not explicitly required, but if you’re interested to hop onto office hours it’ll help to have context of some of the topics discussed in the mentor workshops. We do need to track your progress, and attendance, participation and proof of work are the best way of doing so. Help us understand where you have blockers and we're there to help squash them!
Will my project get funded?
- Apart from the top 2 projects, funding is purely at the discretion of the Kleros panel once we’ve had the chance to assess all projects at the end of the bootcamp period. For projects we’re particularly interested in, we may extend an invitation to our IRL incubator in Lisbon. Additionally, your decks, demos, and prototypes will be sent to investors/VCs in our network so even if your project isn’t chosen for funding from Kleros, you’ll still have other opportunities.
How can I make the most of the bootcamp?
- Save procrastination for before or after the bootcamp and try your best to make this 8 week period all about executing on actionable steps to build your product. The mentor panel and members of the Kleros team will be available to answer questions you may have during the period so we encourage open and thoughtful conversation.
Can I interact with other participants in the bootcamp?
- Yes! Participants in the bootcamp are encouraged to openly collaborate in our online communication channels to learn from one another, forge potential partnerships, and even team up.
What do I need for demo day?
I wasn’t able to ship anything significant enough to present at demo day. What now?
- No worries, you gave it a shot and at least get to leave with learnings and insights that you can use going forward. You’re still invited to watch demo day along with the community.
